The centerpiece of the Cidade Alta is the Pelourinho, a Unesco-declared World Heritage site of colorful colonial buildings and magnificent churches. As you wander the cobblestone streets, gazing up at the city\u2019s oldest architecture, you\u2019ll realize that the Pel\u00f4 is not just for tourists. Cultural centers and schools of music, dance and capoeira pack these pastel-colored 17th- and 18th-century buildings.<\/p>

The area has undergone major restoration work \u2013 which remains ongoing \u2013 since 1993 thanks to Unesco funding. Admittedly, the Pel\u00f4 has lost a lot of its character in the process, but to say that it is now safer and better preserved is an understatement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

P.G.Animal Global Movement was born in memory of my grandapents who always rescue cats and dogs teaching me to protect and defend always the most vulnerable and in need; and never turn my back to injustices. They say ” is always something you can do; not matter where you are and how much resources you have to help an innocent… take an action and do something always in favor of them”. And have the faith that always will find soulmates in my\u00a0 journey who defend the same cause as im anywhere in the world… by the way I lived between USA, Brasil and Peru during all my life.<\/p>

My Rescue Cat Leo save my life after grandparents die; I went to visit my biological mother who was whit depression for that lost.<\/span><\/p>

Leo show up one night in my kitchen cause we forgot the door open; we didn’t know from where, but since that moment he felt like was at home… since there in February 2016. He never left us, Im totally secure he was an angel in a small cats boy send by God to us.<\/div>
He was a healer in all senses; bring live to our lives and seem as was just magic how he changes our lifes for the best.<\/div>
Like a shiny star or the sun… After him I started to rescue and be more aware about the cat needs and world in general. So start to rescue whit out thinking much and then 10 cats later and a baby dog who i found in the trash. The history never stop.<\/div>
Later, I met my exboyfriend and he fell in love whit my Tupi Dog and me. He bring a dog, his name was Dogo, a pitbull. We found a cat. We rescued him, we put our forces\u00a0 together and our love for animals in action in that neighborhood in Lima – Peru.<\/div>
So, my mother and his father join us and are were part of the team\u00a0 as well ; they both did it all theyre life also. So, we started helping, protecting, vaccinated, spay and neuter lots of cats and dogs in the area. Start to work whit a\u00a0 Animal Rights Lawyer and educating and creating consciousness in the area; defendendo theyre rights.<\/div>
Also we rescue more… by the way we pay for a regular vet in the area whit normal prices… cause is not concept of volunteer work or social prices in that area in that time.<\/div>
Also we volunteer for short term whit a local shelter as well.<\/div>
In 2019, have to come back to Salvador Bahia – Brasil, where im\u00a0 living too\u00a0 and my\u00a0 other family too and for dance project and have an accident in the dance Studio; so decide to stay longer also\u00a0 and I meet a Lovely Beutifull Dog called Anitta who need to be rescue till his human father find a home cause she was\u00a0 expulse for the building (will write the story later) and save her\u00a0 from a crazy neighbor who want to killl her.\u00a0<\/div>
In the end, seem as our paths were mean to Cross cause the accident make me to be in bem\u00a0 for 6 months and i could stay whit Anitta all this time…then i come back to walk again and the pandemia starts ; so they close Brazil fronteries and peruvian Animals could not move here or me come back for them….<\/div>
Is where i saw Flavio ..Anittas father who always was a animal Protector in Pelourinho- Salvador.Bahia – Brasil.<\/div>
Helping the street dogs and cats who live in the area cause all the restaurantes amd bares were close and not more tourist..<\/div><\/div>
So i saw how he sale everything he has to Feed the most animals he can and also give his bed for the rescue animals he save from death literalmente. .S\u00f3 ..i start to help him ..but i new was not enough..in the area of Pelourinho are more than 200 street cats and street dogs s\u00f3 i ask for volunteers in social media and then open a small Group of\u00a0 neighbors in WhatsApp ..basically thats it till now….<\/div>
